We offer returns or exchanges on all non-custom NeuroTints* within 30 days of purchase. Click on the options below to get started.
Exchanges
Step 1: Contact us at info@neurotint.com.au
- Email info@neurotint.com.au within 30 days of receiving your purchase. We’ll work with you to identify a better alternative, such as a different frame style or one of our custom lens options.
- Our customer care team will then sort out the details of the exchange with you and send you a prepaid return shipping label (AUS customers only) along with return paperwork for your original pair.
Step 2: We’ll get to work on your new order
We’ll include tracking details for your new order as soon as it ships.
For exchanges for custom items, it can take approximately 3 weeks to complete before we ship them to you.
Step 3: Send back your glasses
Mail us your NeuroTint glasses. Make sure to pack your glasses and case(s) securely so they aren't damaged in shipping. Also, please print out the return paperwork we sent you and put it in the box along with any accessories that came with the glasses.
All returns are inspected upon arrival. If a returned pair of NeuroTint glasses has damage, like scratches or broken pieces, it may reduce the amount we are able to refund you.

- Contact info@neurotinit.com.au within 30 days of receiving your purchase and let us know why you’d like to return them. We’ll see if there’s anything else we might be able to do in order to help you get the right pair of NeuroTints.
- Our customer care team will provide instructions and return paperwork for you to print out and put in the box when you send back your NeuroTint spectacles.
Step 2: Send back your glasses
Mail us your NeuroTint spectacles. Customers are responsible for shipping on returns; fortunately, the packages are light, so return shipping is usually about $4. Also, make sure to pack your NeuroTints and case(s) securely so they aren't damaged in shipping and include the return paperwork we sent you as well as any accessories that came with the glasses.
Step 3: We’ll refund your money
Once we process your return, we'll refund the money to your original payment method (minus any upgraded shipping costs). All returns are inspected. If a returned pair of NeuroTints has damage, like scratches or broken pieces, it may reduce the amount we are able to refund you.
Exceptions
We are unable to accept returns and exchanges on the following items because they are custom-made for you:
- Prescription NeuroTints
- Send-in-your-own frame orders
In addition, we are unable to accept returns on items marked as "Clearance." Exchanges are welcome for non-custom clearance products.

Do I need a prescription to order NeuroTint lenses?
If you need prescription lenses for distance or reading, we can incorporate your prescription into your NeuroTint glasses. If you don’t need vision correction, we also offer non-prescription tinted lenses. Either way, we recommend a consultation to ensure the tint is tailored to your specific condition and needs.
How do I know which tint is right for me?
Our menu bar has a section explaining the most beneficial tints depending on the condition. Some customers may benefit from a clinical tint assessment, which can be arranged through our partner optometrists.
Can NeuroTint glasses be worn all day?
Yes, many of our customers wear their tinted glasses throughout the day, particularly in environments with artificial lighting or screen exposure. However, some users may prefer to wear them only during symptomatic periods or specific tasks like reading or using a computer
Can I claim NeuroTint glasses through private health insurance?
If you have optical extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate for your prescription tinted lenses. We recommend checking with your health fund or contacting us for help with item codes and documentation.
Can NeuroTint glasses be used over contact lenses?
Absolutely. If you wear contact lenses, you can still benefit from our non-prescription tinted glasses as an overlay to reduce light sensitivity.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes! We ship Australia-wide. Delivery timeframes vary depending on whether your lenses are custom-made or non-prescription.
Do you offer returns or adjustments?
For non-prescription products, there is a 30 day return policy.
For prescription orders, we don’t offer refunds for change of mind. However, we do offer adjustments and remakes if there are fitting or lens issues. Your comfort and satisfaction are important to us.
